What is Ted Agent?
Haaave you met Ted?
Ted Agent is an AI agent that lives on your Mac. He runs in the background, sits in your menu bar, and works through the apps you already use. He is a border collie: he herds agents.
Ted is in private beta. To join, ask for access on the Ted Agent page.
What he does
- Thinks with your Claude. The
claudeCLI you are signed in to, or your Anthropic API key. See The brain. - Talks where you are. WhatsApp, e-mail, Teams, Telegram and Slack. He reads, tells you what matters, and sends as you only when you ask.
- Remembers. Facts he writes down show on his reply, and you can undo or ask him to forget. See Chat, history and memory.
- Reaches out first. A daily brief, nudges about loose ends, Robin's news bulletin and parcel tracking. See Briefs, nudges and news.
- Works as a team. Agents per project, a Playbook of repeatable skills, and a scheduler for errands. See Projects and the team.
- Uses your Mac when you allow it: voice on ⌥ ⌘ V, and computer use to click, type and open apps. See Voice and computer use.
